Problems with the consular forms

Visas

General

  • US citizens who have an American passport DO NOT need a visa in order to visit Israel. Here is a list of countries which do not require a visa.
  • If you are residing in the United States illegally you CANNOT get a visa to Israel. You must present proof that you are in the US legally.
  • The process of issuing a visa takes 7 days. The process will begin only when all the necessary documents have been presented before the consualte.
Notice: During the heavy volume of visa applications during the summer months, June-September, issuing a visa takes 14 days.
  • Your passport will remain at the consualte whilst your visa is issued.
  • Your passport / travel document must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you are expecting to exit Israel, Otherwise you must issue a new passport\ travel document before you request a visa.
  • In order to get a visa to Israel you must come to the consulate in person.
