The information officers are responsible for various activities in the department, including:

• Response to public requests and inquiries
• Reaching out to the different communities in the Tri-State area
• Contacts and database maintenance
• Publications and audiovisual materials:
  • Production and design
  • Distribution
• Exhibits – production and placement
• Coordination and production of events and memorials, such as:
  • The Annual Martin Luther King tribute
  • Memorial services
  • Independence day celebrations
  • Sports-related events (tennis clinic, etc.)
• Represent the Consulate at various tri-state events and fairs
• School curriculum development and in-service course about Israel for public-school teachers
