In order to receive notary services, such as powers of attorney or affidavits, there is no need to make an appointment in advance.
Note: the person signing the document must personally appear at the consulate.
The first signature on each document costs $12. We accept payment by cash, money order or credit card (excluding American express).
In cases where there is a large number of documents, the service will not be immediate. In such cases the process can take up to 10 days. When the documents are ready you may either collect them personally or choose to have them delivered by FedEx for an additional fee of $9.
If you need several copies of a document you must bring them with you. It is not possible to photocopy your documents at the Consulate.
If the person signing the document IS an Israeli citizen they must present one of the following forms of identification:
- Israeli Passport
- Israeli ID card
- Israeli driver’s license
If the person signing the document IS NOT an Israeli citizen they must bring either their passport or their driver’s license.
Note: Documents issued more than 15 years ago will not be accepted for identification purposes.
