If you cannot come to the Consulate to authenticate a signature, you may do so by obtaining an apostille. You must first sign your document in front of a local notary public. An apostille seal can then be acquired from the Department of State in the state in which the document was issued.
An apostille seal issued by the Department of State and signing your document at the Consulate of Israel have equal legal standing in Israel.
