Passports

Passports issued to adults are valid for a maximum of 10 years. If your passport was issued more than 10 years ago, a new one must be issued. If the passport was issued less than 10 years ago, it can be extended.

Passports issued to minors are valid for a maximum of 5 years. If the passport was issued more than 5 years ago, a new one must be issued. If the passport was issued less than 5 years ago, it can be extended.

You can find out when your passport was issued by looking at the issue date on the second page of the passport, where the picture appears.

Passports for Adults (18 years or older)

• New Passport to replace a Lost, Stolen or Damaged passport.
