Shani Rozanes is a press officer at the Consulate General of Israel in New York. She serves as the Consulate's liaison with regional, Asian, and African-American media in the tri-state area, as well as with the Israeli media. She also maintains contact with area radio stations, and is the editor of the Consulate's podcast.

Prior to joining the Consulate, Shani worked as a senior news editor at the Israeli television stations Channel 2 and Channel 10, and the Israeli newspapers Maariv and Haaretz. She started her media career as a producer for the IDF radio station, Galei Tzahal.

Shani was born in the city of Bat Yam, near Tel Aviv, and moved to New York in 2010 after completing her MA in Public Policy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She also holds a BA in History of the Middle East from Tel Aviv University.
